The show Rediscovering Lautrec, from Co. Nina Vogel (São Paulo/SP), tells the story of a young artist who finds the French painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, an icon of late XNUMXth century art, fragmented and discovers that the only way to bring him to life is to borrow her legs and arms. As the painter revives, he rediscovers his talents and physical limitations in an unknown world.

11th International Animation Theater Festival, FITA, takes place in Florianópolis from May 20th to 27th, with the main objective of disseminating the language of animated theater in the state, turning to the general public, enabling cultural exchange between artists, theorists and students of the Performing Arts. In all, there will be 36 presentations by 13 companies - from Brazil, Chile, Spain, Holland, Peru and Uruguay, which will bring to the stage good stories, poetry and languages ​​such as shadow theater, masks, gloves, direct manipulation, manipulation with a stick, wire manipulation and hybrid theater, with audiovisual projections. Florianópolis, Balneário Camboriú, São José, Biguaçu, Joinville and Siderópolis will receive shows.

Until 2016, more than 280 thousand people had access to animated theater through the festival. During this period - from 2007 to 2016, approximately 127 groups from 16 different countries passed through FITA, and 166 shows. There were 69 training activities, including workshops, conversation tables, communication sessions, lectures, exhibitions and book launches.
