Dance and music artists, united by a literary work transformed into opera, will perform at the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC), at 20:30 pm on February 4th and 5th. The fruit of six months of intense work, Florianopolis Camerata and Cultural Association Art.Dance present the showCarmen Ballet Suite”, a work from the classical repertoire that has become popular all over the world. The artistic partnership enchanted the Santa Catarina public two and a half years ago and now it returns renewed, starting with the costumes. “To show passion and sensuality, I focused on red, Carmen's characteristic color”, explains renowned costume designer José Alfredo Beirão Filho, known as Dé Beirão, who dedicated three months to research, design and assembly, in addition to a month to the making. The challenge, according to him, was to make something new out of the ordinary. And, as always, he succeeded.
