Exhibition of the Opera Tristan and Isolde at the Festival Ópera na Tela

O Paradigm Cine Arte performs another opera exhibition in a movie theater. This time the Opera on Screen Festival brings to the public Tristan and Isolde, which has an original booklet composed by the German erudite composer Richard Wagner. The work, just over four hours long, was first performed in 1865 at the National Theater in Munich, Germany. Some great names of the genre participate in this production. Conductor: Christian Thielemann. Director: Katharina Wagner. Scenography: Frank Philipp Schlossmann e Matthias Lippert. costumes: Thomas Kaiser. Synopsis: Morold, betrothed to Isolde, daughter of the King of Ireland, is killed by Tristan, nephew of the King of Cornwall. However, Tristan is wounded by Morold's poisoned sword. Isolde, in turn, who is the only one to have the antidote, decides to take revenge on the man who stole her great love. Tristan and Isolde, however, end up falling in love. Torn between hatred, the shame of being handed over to her father's vassal by the one who killed her fiancé, and the impossible love she has for Tristan, Isolde decides to join him in death.
