O Opera on Screen Festival, carried out in Paradigm Cine Arte, promotes the exhibition of operas in the movie theater. The projected opera of the time is Orpheus and Eurydice, sung in Italian and directed by David Pountney. The conductor is Riccardo Chailly.
Synopsis: Orpheus mourns the death of his wife, Eurydice, and decides to put an end to his life when he learns, through Love, that Jupiter, moved by his pain, allows him to go get Eurydice in Hell, imposing as the only condition the promise not to turn around and look at his wife as he makes his way back.
