The Festival's mission is to offer an environment for theoretical and practical study based on oriental dances, from the Arabic “Raqs el Sharq”, such as belly dance, tribal, gypsy, flamenco and Indian. With classes, dialogues, thematic fair and shows, it is an opportunity to expose the work done by professionals in these dances and for their students to deepen their studies in these cultures. Considering the importance of oriental dances for the cultural constitution of humanity, different peoples are responsible for all the historical wealth reflected in the most numerous cultural manifestations, such as dance, music, visual identity and gastronomy, which are intertwined for a new form of present the history of humanity.
