O Camerata Opera Practice Group will present the operetta The Joyful Widow, led by sopranos Claudia Ondrusek and Carla Domingues at the Álvaro de Carvalho Theater (TAC). A Jolly Widow is one of the best-known operettas and was inspired by a French comedy in which it presents the efforts of compatriots of a wealthy widow to marry a citizen of the same locality and her heritage to remain there, as she receives proposals from foreign admirers.
