hypochondrium tells the story of Adriano Leiva Cunha, a man with fragile health and a simple life in a small town in the countryside. Sick since childhood, he faces a life of misdiagnosis and too many medications. Adriano struggles to make sense of his life without salt. He finds in religion and music a form of order that allows him to continue living with some passion. The play addresses the themes of religion, mental health and the role of art in the construction of our narratives of reality. a work of collective disorder.
