The Kiev Ballet, also known as the National Ballet of Ukraine, is a renowned ballet company from the city of Kiev and its headquarters and origin are the Ukrainian Opera Theater, opened in 1867, where it started as a small group of dancers who performed in the folk dances and ballets of local operas.
