The musical portrays America in 1960, marked by its struggles and passions, setting a whole era of anti-war protests and love stories through the songs of the Beatles.
In the mid-60s, a boy from Liverpool, dissatisfied with his job, decides to cross the Atlantic in search of his father. After meeting some rebellious students, he ends up getting involved with emerging counterculture movements as a way of contesting the social and cultural character of society.
The musical is a free adaptation of the film “Across The Universe”. For the musical, more than 15 Beatles songs were selected to be the backdrop for the stories told in the show. Among them are “Let It Be","Yesterday","Come Together","Revolution","All You Need Is Love”, among others, which count on the interpretation of 12 actors, who sing and dance accompanied by a live band.
