Florida TAP is an international dance/tap meeting that had its first edition in 2011 with the participation of dancers from all over Brazil and teachers from abroad (USA). It is an event conceived by Marina Coura, with the aim of promoting dance in the city of Florianópolis, offering training and information. Counting on professionals from Brazil and abroad, Floripa TAP, in addition to uniting dancers from Florianópolis and region, brings professionals from all regions of Brazil to the city. It promotes dance with practical specialization classes focused on technique, choreography, improvisation, dynamism, rhythmic studies, musicality, body percussion and so on.
