This year, Florianópolis has several Christmas attractions, which travel to all corners of the Island, North, South, East and the continental region.
Since the day 28/11, CDL in partnership with the City Hall, already has programming on the streets of Downtown, with special editions of live the city, Santa Claus band, in addition to musical and theatrical attractions.
A special lighting da Capital, in celebration of Christmas events, will be activated on the 8/12. already in the day 10/12 occurs the official launch of the festivities, with projection mapped in the Metropolitan Cathedral, presentation of the choir with 300 voices and the staging of the birth of Jesus.
A XV Square It will be all decorated to welcome and delight residents and visitors. The site will be transformed into a forest of magic with Santa's house, in Azorean style, nativity scene, lighting and the Snow Globe – which was one of the great attractions in 2013, when the square received about 100 thousand people. The decoration will remain in the space until 6/1/2015.
On 12/12: good old man comes to town, enchanting children and their families. arrival happens at 19 pm, in front of the Cathedral, when there will be a projection mapped on the historic building. The way Santa Claus will arrive is still a surprise, but whoever attends, guarantee the party's producers, will be delighted.
At the Cathedral, three other Christmas events will be held on 17/12, 19/12 and 23/12, with a circus performance by the group tholl, orchestra of Maestro Vieira, bandstand and the closing with the Camerata Florianopolis and Toquinho, together.
