After overcoming two decades of activities, the Santa Catarina dance group asks: Why and how to continue? Questions that are configured in the complex construction of your new project: Elephant Protocol. At this exact moment, 10 company members are carrying out one of the five instances of this work, the Soliloquy, and which consists of an individual isolation, incommunicado, an exodus of self-investigation to bring to the surface the traces built one day in a group.
The result of this will (or will not) be revealed in the Reunion, the so-called fourth instance of the project. It is a regrouping treated as a ritual event, open to the public for a single occasion. It is also configured as an autonomous work, a multimedia artistic activity for public sharing, where each member will record their individual process using videos, texts, audio and images.
