Musical Recital with Adanvi Trio at Udesc

Musical recital open to the community at the State University of Santa Catarina (Udesc), promoted by the DMU (Department of Music). O Adanvi Trio, formed by Brazilians Adriana Jarvis (Piano) and David Johnson (Violin) and by the British Hans Twitchell (Cello), interprets great works by the German pianist Clara Schumann (Trio Op. 17), the Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos (Trio nº2 1915) and the American composer Paul Schoenfield (Café Music 1987). The Adanvi Trio: David Johnson is a violinist, born in Hull in the United Kingdom, and during his training he was in Manchester at the Royal Northern College of Music among other major international music centers. During his time in Germany he participated in the Gurzenich Orchestra of Cologne, one of the orchestras in Germany with one of the oldest histories. He currently performs as a soloist at festivals such as Rio International Cello Encounter, I Musici de Montreal. Hans Twitchell performs as a cellist on four continents as a soloist and chamber musician, exposing a variety of styles. He stands out for his interpretations of both postmodern and baroque works. Among internationally renowned performances and awards in the field of music, Hans is also an effective professor at Udesc Ceart in Florianópolis. Adriana Jarvis began his study of the piano at age four and made his debut as a soloist with orchestra at eleven. From a young age she was praised by newspapers and soon graduated in piano with honors from Brigham Young University. She also studied at Texas Tech University and the Rubin Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem. She is an active collaborator and soloist on both piano and harpsichord. She has already performed at Udesc Ceart accompanied by Hans, with whom she also received awards.
