The musician from Lage began his musical career by participating in student festivals and, in 1981, he was one of the founders of one of the most important groups in music from Santa Catarina, the Rural Express Group - later, only Espresso - on which he recorded five discs. After the end of the band, he continued recording solo albums, considered the most recorded composer in the history of SC, having his songs interpreted by several other artists, such as We from the Village, Tribal Man, Medium Height, Neto Fagundes, João Kadela, Sérgio Guimarães, between others. At the moment, Daniel Lucena circulates with his new work, a CD (double) entitled Se7e Winds, with unreleased songs and some of his classics.
