The singer Simone launches its latest work, the CD it's better to be. The show debuted in Rio de Janeiro and is now on tour across the country, passing through Floripa.
Simone gathered songs by important composers for her career, such as Rita Lee, Joyce, Marina Lima and Sueli Costa. woman enough (Alzira Espíndola and Vera Lucia Motta), the first single from the CD available on iTunes, is one of the highlights of the show, which also features the unprecedented haiku, by Fátima Guedes, and two partnerships by Simone: Only if, with Zélia Duncan, and By the way, with Fernanda Montenegro. Simone presents customized versions for classics such as world charm (Marina and Antonio Cicero), Mutant (Rita Lee and Roberto de Carvalho), Accredit (Dona Ivone Lara and Délcio Carvalho) and detours (Joanna and Sarah Benchimol), among others. To accompany the singer, João Gaspar (guitar Guitar), Bruno Migliari (contrabass), Christiano Galvao (battery) and André Siqueira (percussion), Leandro Braga (piano). The show was conceived by Simone herself, with general direction by Christiane Torloni. To sign the arrangements for the show and direct the band, Simone invited the musician and conductor Leandro Braga, who shared the album's musical direction with Bia Paes Leme. The show has a scenario signed by Helium Eichbauer and light design Rogerio Wiltgen.
