The event is the first face-to-face meeting of the LAB in the capital, and the initiative guarantees specialized support to get ideas off the ground or improve social entrepreneurship projects that use technology as a tool for action. Participants will receive an eliminatory challenge that, if fulfilled, guarantees a place in the second stage of the project, which counts on citizenship, education and social, civic and political engagement as the most common areas of action among the chosen projects. Those selected will have the help of mentors and experts as well as other entrepreneurs and will learn to use innovative methodologies in the country. Two other meetings will be held in August and October. In the last one, there will be Demoday, in which the projects will be exposed to an audience of social entrepreneurs and accelerators. The best ones will be presented in November at the Social Good Brasil Seminar 2014, in Florianópolis, and 3 finalists will win a seed capital.
