The workshop seeks to provide the oriented, lay person or beginner with a foundation in the art of sculpture, instituting knowledge of the technique of removing the formwork and making them able to understand the sides of the piece and the surrounding space. The workshop is still preceded by an introductory lecture to the technique, improving the preparation for bronze casting, in the lost wax technique. Taught by the designer, engraver and sculptor Pita Camargo. The event is part of the 12th National Museum Week, taking place in several museums and cultural institutions throughout Brazil.
