taught by Ro Giuntini, Glass Fushing Workshop provides extensive knowledge of the technique, which consists of joining two or more pieces of glass of equal and/or varied shapes that, when heated to approximately 840°C, are molded to the shape of a model used, resulting in functional/sculptural objects, jewelry, among others. Practical and theoretical content about glass (types/composition), history of glass in art and industry, different techniques and recycling will be addressed.
