O DJ Chernobyl is best known as a member of the gaucho musical group Comunidade Ninjitsu. Influenced by the rhythm of the batidão, a fusion between funk carioca and diverse musical styles, Chernobyl exposes his view on the style, showing its history and at which points the batidão exerted its influence on the current world music scene. The event is part of Patchbay: Conexões Eletrónicas, promoted by Sesc, which brings together some of the main names in the Brazilian electronic scene in the city.
