Synopsis:

In The Night of Triumph, Etienne is an actor who doesn't get many jobs, until one day he decides to join a theater workshop in prison. Tasked with helping the inmates to act, the group seems to be reluctant to continue in the workshop, but when Etienne says they are going to stage Samuel Beckett's play Waiting for Godot, the gang starts to get more motivated. The workshop, however, will only be in operation for a few weeks, but Etienne ends up getting the prison director to accept that the workshop stays in operation for another six months in order to finish the great show. But preparing a big show is just one of the obstacles that Etienne and his group of inmates will have to face. Amid rediscoveries, lots of bureaucracy and lots of acting classes, the group ends up getting a performance for life, if the prison lets them go in the first place.
