Synopsis: 1981, Colombia. Leader of the Medellín Cartel, Pablo Escobar is one of the biggest cocaine traffickers to the United States, which makes the Ronald Reagan government insist on the creation of a treaty between the two countries that allows him to be tried on American soil. Determined to fight this idea, Escobar runs for office and is elected federal deputy. At the same time, he gets involved with Virginia Vallejo, a popular TV presenter who doesn't care how her lover makes his fortune, only how the money is spent.
