Synopsis: Joca, a 13-year-old Brazilian boy, and Basano La Tatuada, an indigenous Paraguayan girl, live on the border between the two countries, marked by the waters of the Apa River. Joca is in love with Basano and wants to do everything to win his love. Even if for that he has to face the violent memories of the Paraguayan War that devastated the region and the secrets of his older brother, Fernando (Cauã Reymond), a mysterious agroboy involved with a dangerous motorcycle gang in the region.
