Synopsis:

Paris, late 19th century. French captain Alfred Dreyfus (Louis Garrel) is one of the few Jews who is part of the army. On December 22, 1884, his enemies achieve their goal: they manage to have Dreyfus accused of high treason. For the crime, tried behind closed doors, the captain is sentenced to life imprisonment in exile.
