Synopsis:
After the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the CIA began to adopt the use of torture as a means of obtaining information from people considered threats to the country, under the justification of avoiding at all costs that such an attack happened again. Working for Senator Dianne Feinstein, agent Daniel J. Jones begins, in 2007, an internal investigation into allegations about the destruction of interrogation tapes by the CIA, disclosed through a report published by the New York Times. With great difficulty in obtaining the necessary documents, Daniel dedicates himself to the report for almost a decade, not knowing if one day the discoveries made by him will be exposed to the public.
