Synopsis: Eastern Cape, South Africa. Xolani, a lonely worker, travels to the rural mountains with the men of his community in order to perform the rituals of Ulwaluko, which consists of the circumcision of teenagers of Xhosa origin so that they can finally enter adulthood, becoming men. Xolani takes responsibility for a city boy whose father fears is homosexual, and when the questioning rookie discovers his best-kept secret, the blue-collar worker has no peace.
