Synopsis:

High in the remote mountains of Peru, Segundo, a 14-year-old boy, is preparing to follow in his father's professional footsteps. Working as a craftsman, he produces altarpieces, traditional colored boxes that depict religious scenes and everyday events. The boy reveres the craft, but is faced with a shocking secret from his father, which ends up revealing the deeply religious and conservative landscape that surrounds him.
