Synopsis: Mildred Hayes, unhappy with the police's ineffectiveness in finding the culprit for her daughter's brutal murder, makes the decision to bring attention to the unsolved case, renting three billboards on a rarely used road. Her unexpected attitude reverberates throughout the city and its consequences affect several people, especially Mildred herself and Deputy Willoughby, responsible for the investigation. She then makes a radical decision: hire a gang of gunmen to find and eliminate the people who killed her heir.
