After two years without an official schedule, due to the pandemic, the city hall is organizing a special schedule. In this new year, residents and tourists will be able to enjoy the fireworks display with fireworks show on Avenida Beira-mar Norte, as well as on the bridge Hercilio Luz🇧🇷 The attraction is traditional throughout the country and the fireworks show on the island is recognized as one of the most exuberant in Brazil.
Hundreds of thousands of people consider it a privilege to spend the New Year's Eve in Floripa and enjoy the fireworks display on the waterfront, with a privileged view of the night sky. So much so that the Municipality of Florianópolis is already studying that this should be the summer season in more than 10 years, which means that the arrival of 2023 will be quite busy.
The audience is diverse, in a mix of young people, couples, families and seniors. An average of 300 thousand people are expected in Beira-mar Norte and 80 thousand in Beira-mar Continental. The fireworks display lasts approximately 20 minutes; there are six ferries with rockets close to Beira-Mar Norte and two to Beira-Mar Continental.
