Synopsis: Maria and José Ribeiro are a couple of Portuguese immigrants in France, living in an upscale neighborhood of Paris. For over thirty years she has worked as a property manager, and he as a janitor, being respected and admired by the local residents. One day, however, an unexpected inheritance gives the two the opportunity to leave the small house where they live and return to Portugal, where they would live a luxurious life.
