Synopsis: Abandoned by his father as a child, Max Trombini (Caio Castro) was raised by his mother and grandmother. He had a humble and turbulent childhood, which worsened at age 11, when his grandmother died. This angered the boy, who began to get involved in several fights at school. When he was about to be kicked out of high school, Max started training judo to be more disciplined. Some time later, already emotionally established, he began to compete in the first competitions in the sport. While fighting for a spot in the Olympics, Max meets a woman (Sabrina Sato) and falls in love with her. However, she becomes pregnant some time later, which could jeopardize Max's preparation for the Olympics. The film is based on the book Apprentice of Samurai, written by Max Trombini himself.
