Synopsis: Henry Sawyer (JK Simmons) is a man who has always loved music. And that taste influenced his son Gabriel (Lou Taylor Pucci) from an early age. However, Gabriel is diagnosed with a brain tumor, which prevents him from having new memories. Father and son distance themselves for a while, as they cannot understand each other. Until Henry seeks help from Dianne Daley (Julia Ormond), a music therapist who intends to use music to awaken parts of Gabriel's memory. Despite not agreeing with parts of the treatment, the same song that brought father and son together 20 years ago, will once again show her power.
