Synopsis: Dom Hemingway (Jude Law) is a famous safecracker who was imprisoned for twelve years. Upon getting out of prison, he goes in search of the reward he should receive for keeping quiet all these years. For this he has the help of Dickie (Richard E. Grant), who ends up saving Dom from several troubles. Together they pay a visit to crime boss Fontaine (Demian Bichir) to receive weapons and money. In celebration, Dom throws a big party, but ends up drinking too much and having his money stolen by a dancer. After that, he meets his daughter again, meets his grandson, goes back to committing crimes and goes through several adventures, always using his sarcastic and ironic humor.
