Synopsis:

Paris, late 19th century. French captain Alfred Dreyfus (Louis Garrel) is one of the few Jews who is part of the army. On December 22, 1884, his enemies achieve their goal: they manage to have Dreyfus accused of high treason. For the crime, tried behind closed doors, the captain is sentenced to life imprisonment in exile. Intrigued by the evolution of the case, investigator Picquart (Jean Dujardin) decides to follow the clues to unravel the mystery behind Dreyfus' conviction.
