Synopsis:

Elia Suleiman leaves his homeland of Palestine and travels the world only to find, wherever he goes, the same problems he encountered there. From Paris to New York, wherever his travels take him, he encounters problems with the police, racism, immigration control. Trying to leave his nationality behind but always being reminded of it, he questions the meaning of identity and the place that can be called home.
