Synopsis: Antoine Doinel (Jean-Pierre Léaud) is a 14-year-old teenager who lives an unhappy life with his family. He sleeps on a sofa in the kitchen and knows his mother is having an affair. Then, he has a disagreement with a teacher, who accuses him of plagiarizing Balzac, leaves the house and starts living off petty theft.
