Synopsis:

In Little Mom, after her grandmother (Margot Abascal) passes away, Nelly (Joséphine Sanz) discovers the house where her mother grew up and lived for many years. Once there, Nelly explores the place while her parents tidy up the house. In the woods where her mother Marion (Nina Meurisse) used to play and built a tree house she's heard many stories about, Nelly meets a girl her age building a cabin. Surprisingly, the child's name is Marion (Gabrielle Sanz). The two girls, who are the same age and extremely similar, become best friends, building a tent together, sharing snacks and talking about the life and body transitions they are about to have. As the days go by, the similarities between the girls begin to become more evident, and past and present blend together. And affected by the recent death of her grandmother, the girl perceives the cycles of life, marked by growth, and by the inevitable death.
