Synopsis:

Robert de Niro is Max Barber, a former film producer. Given his latest cinematic failure, Max's life is threatened by a debt to mob boss Reggie Fontaine. To make money and pay off his debt, Max has the “big” idea of ​​producing a movie just to kill the protagonist — Duke Montana (Tommy Lee Jones), an old alcoholic — and keep the insurance money.
