Hercílio Luz Bridge

Initially called the Independence Bridge for being the first link between the Island and the Continent, the bridge was later named after its creator, Governor Hercílio Luz, who died before seeing it completed. Initially called Bridge of Independence for being the first connector link between the Island and the Continent, the bridge later received the name from its idealizer, the governor Hercílio Luz, who died before seeing his work concluded it.
