The east coast of Santa Catarina Island, in Florianópolis, is a paradise for nightlife and water and extreme sports. In the hills, paragliders fly. In the waves of Joaquina and Mole beaches, there is a lot of surfing. In the dunes of Joaca (Praia da Joaquina) surfing is practiced on the sand where Sandboard was born. Lagoa is always a sure bet for fun. During the day, the waters bring together windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaks, stand-up, pedal boats, schooners, sailing boats, jet skis and speedboats. At night, lots of music and flirting. Going to eat at Costa da Lagoa is the perfect trip for families. Galheta beach is the tour reserved for naturists. Barra da Lagoa, the largest fishing center on the island, is busy all year round. And Praia do Moçambique, the largest on the island, pleases with its unspoilt nature.
