The mansion where the Bar Açores is now located functioned as a dry and wet warehouse. Built approx. 1780 the walls of the Azores were made with stones fixed with whale oil, oyster lime and clay. Internally the stucco is mounted on içara palm slats, whale oil, beaten clay e cal.
