Viewpoint of Morro das Pedras

All the beauty of Morro das Pedras is evident, even more, when you pass by the Mirante do Morro das Pedras, located in front of Casa de Retiro Vila Fátima, also known as Convento dos Jesuítas. Built in January 1956, right on top of a hill, it is all made of stones extracted from the site itself. The unforgettable view demonstrates that the beach remains intact, without buildings or kiosks by the sea. The view of the beach from the viewpoint is one of the most privileged and beautiful in the south of the island. The gates are usually open and it is possible to go up to the parking lot.
