Ilha das Campanhas is located on the border between the beaches of Matadeiro and Armação, where you can reach it on foot via a wooden walkway.
There is a small pier on the island, where fishermen's boats loaded with fish and shrimp dock.
From the Island, looking to the left, you can see one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the Matadeiro Beach. Looking to the right, you can see the Armacao Beach. In addition, there are truly stunning rock formations around the island, which produce natural pools and where it is possible to bathe and enjoy the encounter of the waves with the stones of the island.
