Sashiko embroidery arises from the culture of non-waste, of mending clothes, in which women express feelings and put meaning in the work.
Sewing the patch will be the subject of a workshop on two Wednesdays in September, on the 20th and 27th of September, from 15pm to 17pm.
The Encontro das Arteiras workshop operates in the Maker Space of the Children's and Youth Sector of the Santa Catarina Public Library, in the center of Florianópolis.
