Weekend with attractions for the whole family at Shopping Itaguaçu

Those who visit Shopping Itaguaçu, on October 15th and 16th, will have several attractions to enjoy over the weekend. For children, Escola Tia Dolores exhibits works created by 3 and 4-year-old students and offers workshops on Nature's Art, at Praça de Expansão, on Floor L2; workshops of Programming and Minecraft, a workshop in partnership with the Happy Code school, for children and adolescents from 6 to 14 years old, on Floor L2; and for adults, the Artisan Collective will exhibit several products made by artisans from Greater Florianópolis, on Floor L2, in front of the Bárbara K store, during the mall's opening hours. 

The exhibition of student works and the Nature Art Workshops, offered by Escola Tia Dolores, in São José, present the teaching concepts used by the institution, which has been in the market for 47 years, changing the future perspectives of its students. The project makes it possible for the child to be the protagonist in the construction of their knowledge, carrying out the work in a democratic and interactive way involving parents, students and teachers. During the creative process, ideas, investigation, experimentation, analysis and reflection are considered, expanding the knowledge of the little ones. The workshops take place on Saturday, from 14 pm to 19 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm to 18 pm, with a limit of 10 students per class.

For those who are more technological and attuned to the digital world, Escola Happy Code once again brings the Programming and Minecraft Workshops that teaches how to make games and offers Minecraft classes. Through project-based learning, the workshops introduce students to an innovative environment, stimulating skills such as reasoning, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and collaboration. In Itaguaçu, activities will be carried out in the Hub It space, on Floor 2, from 14 pm to 17 pm. Applications must be made in advance online and the workshops are aimed at children and teenagers, from 6 to 14 years old, and will last 40 minutes, with a maximum capacity of 14 students per class. 

And the weekend's attractions don't stop there, even on October 15th and 16th, the Artisan Collective takes 15 local fashion, art and gastronomy exhibitors on Saturday, from 10 am to 22 pm, and Sunday, from 12 pm to 20 pm, at Praça de Expansão, opposite Barbara K, on ​​Floor L1. Decoration items, male and female accessories, gourds for mate, embroidery, craft beers, cheeses, salami, cakes and sweets will be offered.
