Music, gastronomy and charity. This is the weather 2nd Salah Shriners Music Festival, which takes place on September 17th (Sunday), from noon onwards, at the Costao do Santinho Resort. The event is a great get-together of a charitable nature, in order to raise funds for the improvement of various child health services in various regions of the State.
Tickets include lunch, open bar of water, soda, juice, Budweiser and Bohemia beer, sparkling wine, red and white house wine and access to the parking lot. All this packed to the sound of renowned bands from Santa Catarina, such as Sonido Club, which is touring Europe, and zawajus. Children also have guaranteed fun in the kids space.
The 2nd Salah Shriners Music Festival is a philanthropic action, promoted by Salah Shriners Santa Catarina, with support from Costao do Santinho Resort, Peixada do Gui and R2T Travel.
Allocation of funds raised
After different meetings with entities and health professionals from Santa Catarina throughout the year, three main challenges were identified that deserve attention when it comes to child care in the State: burns, orthopedics and cleft lip and palate.
To help meet this demand, all income from the 2nd Salah Shriners Music Festival will be allocated, primarily, to actions at the Joana de Gusmão Children's Hospital in Florianópolis, which is a reference in burns and orthopedics; and the Center for Research and Rehabilitation of Palatal Lesions Mayor Luiz Gomes, the Centrinho, from Joinville, which is a reference in cleft lip.
