O Itaguaçu Project + Music, from Shopping Itaguaçu, invites the saxophonist Márcio Pedrini to lead the program this weekend, on September 16th and 17th, bringing smooth jazz classics. The engaging bossa nova with MPB soul is a genre that uses improvisations, instruments associated with jazz and stylized influences from R&B, as well as funk and pop. The style became popular in the late 1980s and 1990s.
Márcio Pedrini embraced music as a profession at the age of 12, performing on exclusive stages, bringing high quality music to select audiences. Over the years, the artist found inspiration in Brazilian musical diversity, being influenced by bossa nova, jazz, salsa, mambo and other styles. A mix that inevitably reflected in his musicality, making him a multi-instrumentalist.
The presentations will begin on Saturday, the 16th, from 18pm to 21pm, in the food court on Floor L1, and on Sunday, the 17th, from 18pm to 21pm, in the food court on Floor L2. The shows are free and open to the public, for more information, see Shopping Itaguaçu's social networks.
