Cena_Doc is an event that offers programming with works in different languages, in addition to research and training processes that investigate the multiple possibilities of artistic creation based on documentary procedures. The artistic and training actions take turns until October, both in person and online.

In May, the highlight is the research on intangible heritage Finas & Caricatas - Memórias do Carnaval do Roma, which aims to recover and preserve memories about the Carnaval do Roma − a seminal historical manifestation of the carnival culture and LGBTQIA+ in the city of Florianópolis − between the 1980s to 1990.

In addition to the free online workshop (with an option for in person) on the research process, in which participants will have access to details of the research, methods, reports and images, and will also learn about other documentary works developed by La Vaca Companhia de Artes Cênicas, the research memorial will be freely available for download on the Cena_Doc website.

nscriptions until 26/05/23, both for in-person participation and via Zoom, at cenadoc.com.

It develops projects that include diverse languages, expanding the experience with the traditional stage to contemporary theater, urban interventions, performance and audiovisual, establishing creative and professional relationships with artists from other collectives.
