A Itaguaçu Gallery + Art. Shopping Itaguaçu, brings to the month of December the exposure "traverse, "In Sergio Casalecchi, better known as Cazão. Inspired by the work of the same name by the poet Manoel de Barros, the exhibition is an exercise in the artist's imagination. Lines, colors, shapes and lights are the objects to create and transform the spatial notion of surfaces. The show brings together a series of works produced over the last year and presents a transition from urban artwork and murals to the studio, where he transported his ideas and experiments to offer the public a more intimate and private experience.
Cazão is on the list of the main names of urban art in Santa Catarina. His trademark is interventions in telephone boxes on city streets, he is currently producing a 460m2 mural in a building in the historic center of Florianópolis, as part of the Festival Street Art Tour Floripa.
For this exhibition, Cazão produced exclusive works, including the exhibition of one of the telephone boxes painted by him. Abstract, his paintings carry a visual game that provoke multiple perceptions in the viewer. For the artist, the “Transver” exhibition is an invitation to see reality through the prism of imagination, in which everything can be seen from a perspective different from what it apparently is, with the belief that reality is just a way of looking at it.
The Galeria Itaguaçu + Arte project is created by cultural producer Chris Ribeiro. The exhibition is open for visitation from December 6th to January 9th, at Galeria Itaguaçu + Arte, on Floor L2, in front of the Chilli Beans kiosk. For more information, check out the mall's social media.
