Bosque Vereador Pedro Medeiros is one of the few remaining green areas in the continental region of Florianópolis. Opened to the public on March 23, 2002, it occupies an area of more than 18 thousand square meters, in the middle of the urbanized area of the Estreito neighborhood. The Bosque has an extensive green area with Atlantic Forest trees, some aviaries with birds, rabbits, chickens and a tank with freshwater turtles, space for snacks and games, a leisure area with children's toys, a walkway built between the trees and three trails, where you can go for walks and picnics. In addition to the green area, Bosque Pedro Medeiros has an old building, built in the 105th century, which currently houses the Nativity Scene Museum. The Museum's collection currently has XNUMX sets of cribs, handcrafted using various techniques and materials - such as ceramics, bamboo, glass, seaweed and sand, from various parts of Brazil and the world.
