How to get to Ufsc

Ufsc is located in Trindade neighborhood, close to the neighborhoods Big Stream, Pantanal, Serrinha and Carvoeira. From the center the distance is 7 km. the neighborhoods Santa Monica, Itacorubi e Bag of Lemons they are also part of the surroundings of the University, however, to get to the campus it is necessary to walk, or use a bicycle, bus or own car.

Upon reaching the Island, crossing the Pedro Ivo Campos Bridge, take the right lane, going around the entrance loop, following the lane that indicates Avenida Beira Mar Norte, addressing it. Continue along the avenue and, right after the Angeloni Supermarket, continue straight, passing under the Vilson Pedro Kleinübing Elevation.

You will pass through the Trindade Integration Terminal, the Titri, and through some traffic lights. After passing Shopping Iguatemi, take the right lane and go along the street on the right (Exit 3), going straight ahead to the Ufsc roundabout, where the University Campus is located.

Another option would be to go ahead after Shopping Iguatemi, always straight, until the second traffic light, at the end of the straight. At this point, you will be at the junction of the Córrego Grande and Pantanal districts and the entrance to the University Campus is on your right.

There is also the option to go through the south of the island. Upon reaching the island, crossing the Pedro Ivo Campos Bridge and going straight, you will pass the CentroSul Conference Center and the Passarela do Samba Nego Quirido, reaching the Antonieta de Barros Tunnel and shortly after the Aderbal Ramos da Silva Highway - Via Expressa Sul.

Continue for approximately 3 km, until reaching the first exit on the left. In it, take the left lane and follow the signs that guide the way to Ufsc. Continuing straight through the Pantanal district, you will find a fork that will give you access through the buildings of the Architecture and Engineering courses.

You can also enter the University by going around the roundabout in the Pantanal neighborhood, after Eletrosul, on the left, passing through Elase, visible on your left, and reaching the roundabout in the Carvoeira neighborhood, where, on the right, you will have the entrance from the back. of the Campus.

At the bus station (Terminal Rita Maria) there are no urban bus stops. If the intention is to go from public transport to Ufsc, it is necessary to walk 300 meters to the Center Integration Terminal – Ticen. From there, there are lines that go to Ufsc - Ufsc Semidireto, Ufsc Semidireto South Output, Abraão Ufsc, Capoeiras Ufsc or Jardim Atlântico Ufsc. Other possible lines that enter the Campus are Volta ao Morro Sul/Norte Pantanal and Volta ao Morro Sul/Norte Carvoeira.

For those who are not in the Center, the Trindade and Rio Tavares Integration Terminals – Titri and Tirio respectively – offer lines to Ufsc, but the latter offers few timetables. O Hercilio Luz Airport is located in Sul of Santa Catarina Island. Leave the airport on the right, going straight ahead along the main avenue. When you arrive at the intersection that gives access, on the right, to the beaches of the South, go around the city center and take the Rodovia Aderbal Ramos da Silva (Via Expressa Sul).

In approximately two kilometers is the access to Ufsc, there are indicative signs along the way. Turn right and right again, at the Armazém Vieira bar, passing in front of the bar and continuing for another 1 kilometer, arriving at the Eletrosul roundabout (Pantanal district). At this point you will be skirting the University Campus.
